This past campaign season was truly one for the history books. Despite massive media collusion against him, Donald Trump defeated the Left’s golden girl, snatching away what she and her comrades thought was her destiny.
One of the highlights of the election was Clinton’s decision to wage war on a cartoon frog, and the media’s uninformed insistence that poor old Pepe was a symbol for Nazis and white supremacists.
Well, the declaration of war only emboldened Pepe apostles to create more memes and shower Leftists with them even more. Pretty soon, the accusations of being a Nazi sympathizer were not enough, the media declared that Pepe, and his white supremacism, was being spread by Soviet propagandists in attempt to steal the presidency from Madame almost-president.
As reported at Breitbart, the Russians have ratcheted up the meme war, openly weaponizing Pepe against UK Prime Minister Theresa May on Twitter. To the Left’s horror, Pepe’s smug face was tweeted out by the Russian Embassy’s UK Twitter account on Monday, in what can only be described as an act of war.
“In today’s papers: pundits call on @Theresa_May to disrupt possible Russia-US thaw. No trust in Britain’s best friend and ally?” the terrifying tweet read (NSFW).
Predictably, many on the Left suffered severe paroxysms as a result, but a few brave souls found the strength and courage respond to the unprovoked meme attack.
Talia Jane, a reporter Mic, tweeted back to the Russians saying, “[H]i there, reporter here. are you aware of that image’s popularity among white nationalists?” Mic is a liberal website that actively worked to shutdown a fundraiser for a gay military charity in October just because the event was pro-Trump. Apparently love does not Trump hate.
Another critic, by the name of Bruins1973, tweeted a very nuanced and edifying response , “@RussianEmbassy Nice of you to embrace Hitler. How many Russians did he kill?”
While liberals were pearl-clutching and expressing outrage from their fainting couches, Pepe’s many disciples hit back against the Left’s slanderous attacks on the peaceful frog, “Stop spreading lies. Pepe (Kek Be Upon Him) is a meme of peace,” replied a gallant defender. “It’s a f****** meme you dolt,” replied another person with common sense.
Despite his many supporters, the liberal media has refused to actually research or report the truth about Pepe, because that would deprive them of a ridiculous symbol with which they can beat conservatives over the head with.
This entire charade is another in a long line of attempts by the Left to seize upon a person, meme, event, etc. and associate it with Nazis or something and then say that anyone who has ever liked that thing or person is Hitler. We are witnessing unprecedented levels of wolf-crying.
All this tells me is that conservatives are winning. A green frog literally shook up the election and has become a boogeyman to the Left, leaving some to speculate about the realness of meme magic. Like him or not, the attacks on Pepe have revealed what we have all known for a long time — the Left is crazy.
