Suicide Bomber Attacked Iraqi Forces…Had Ties With OBAMA!

For over a decade now, the Left has had a strange hatred for the terrorist detention center at Guantanamo Bay.

The island is where the US has imprisoned many high profile terrorists captured in the War on Terror while deciding what exactly to do with them.

Liberals have expressed outrage over the prison’s existence, acting like it’s some kind torture factory where all sorts of innocent Muslims are being permanently held.

One of Obama’s big promises back in 2008 was that he’d close the prison if he became president, but we all know how that turned out.

What the former president did do, however, was indiscriminately release many of the terrorists held there for no apparent reason, despite the massive threat many of them still posed.

As a result, a lot of them have gone back to killing innocents, and a recent attack in Iraq proves how foolish Obama’s judgment was.

As reported at the American Lookout, a recent suicide attack in Mosul, Iraq was carried out by a British ISIS fighter that was formerly detained in Guantanamo Bay.

Abu-Zakariya al-Britani detonated a car bomb in February at an Iraqi Army base southwest of Mosul.

This guy’s actual name was Ronald Fiddler, a 50-year old man from Manchester, England. Back in 2001, he was captured in Pakistan by US forces and sent to Guantanamo.

Upon interrogation, the US found he provided useful information to them about the Taliban’s methods, and he was released after two years.

He was then returned to the UK, where he was awarded over a million pounds in compensation by the government.

The money was part of the British government’s settled lawsuit alleging its intelligence agencies were complicit in the torture of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.

The reason the government paid up was because they would have had to reveal classified documents if they fought the suit in court.

Alex Carlile, Britain’s former independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, told the BBC: Plainly he was a terrorist and he was a potentially dangerous terrorist. The issue was the legal disclosure rules. If someone brings a civil action for damages they are entitled to disclosure of material, some of which may be national security material.”

Rather than use the money to start a new life, Fiddler decided he just couldn’t quit his terrorist ways, so he headed to Syria in 2014. And now, after killing more innocents, is dead.

Fiddler is one of many examples of ex-Guantanamo detainees being released and heading straight back to the battlefield. The idea that these folks can be “reformed” and “trusted” is laughable.

They left the comfort of their homes to murder others, and after years of imprisonment, we’re supposed to believe that they’ll just forget about it all and act like reformed individuals?

Releasing these terrorists is a mistake, one that has and will cost lives. The left-wing radicals that want to close the prison should be willing to accept the blood of innocents will be on their hands when these zealots inevitably go back to their murderous ways.
