HaTrump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey has created a political firestorm on Capitol Hill.
The left-wing media has seized the opportunity to smear the president with alls sorts of unfounded accusations in an attempt to get him impeached.
The funny thing is, this is the same media that trashed Comey back in November when he reopened the Hillary investigation.
But with such a good opportunity to undermine Trump, they’re painting Comey as some kind of paragon of virtue, and acting like his firing was completely unjustified.
But there’s an interesting element to Comey’s past that’s been overlooked during this controversy, one that explains why he conveniently let Hillary off the hook for her crimes.
As reported at the Gateway Pundit, despite the media’s claims, Comey has a long history of protecting the criminal syndicate that is the Clinton family.
Starting all the way back in 1996, when he served as deputy special counsel to the Senate special committee on the Whitewater investigation.
This investigation was looking into Hillary Clinton and her mishandling and destruction of documents. While governor of Arkansas, there were many allegations that the Clintons took part in a fraud connected to an Arkansas real estate venture gone bust.
Comey and the panel eventually let the Clinton’s get away with destroying documents that obviously would have revealed their crimes. They didn’t even get obstruction of justice charges thrown against them.
Comey’s second encounter with the Clinton’s came in the early 2000s when he was involved in the case of Marc Rich, a billionaire oil trader indicted for tax fraud and trading with Iran during the hostage crisis.
Rich, a Clinton associate, was suspiciously pardoned by President Bill Clinton during his final day in office in 2001.
Comey was tasked with investigating if Bill’s last minute pardons were due to corruption, and to no one’s surprise, the Clinton’s once again were exonerated.
This, despite the fact that Rich’s then ex-wife had given large donations to Hillary’s Senate campaign in 2002, likely as a thank you for the pardon.
The latest Clinton run-in was the Hillary email investigation, and we all know how that ended. Despite testifying before Congress and listing off all the crimes she committed, he still suggested that no charges be brought against Hillary.
Everyone knows Comey is tight with the Clinton’s, yet the media doesn’t bother reporting on their long relationship. But those that care for the truth can plainly see this entire email investigation was fixed from the start.
We need a new, independent investigation not only into the email crimes but to Comey’s handling of the probe.
So we can finally get the truth and put the fear of prosecution back into those that are tempted to use their positions to lie and run cover for their political allies.
